Democratic Women’s Club of Highlands County to Host State Legislative Committee Chair.
The Democratic Women’s Club (“DWC”) will meet at 10 am Saturday, Jan 24, at 4216 Sebring Parkway. Doors open at 9:30 and refreshments will be served.
The featured guest speaker is Dr. Yvette Edghill Yvette Spano, Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Democratic Women’s Club of Florida (“DWCF”). She is also Legislative Liaison for the Flagler County DWC. Dr. Spano was awarded the DWCF’s 2024 Outstanding Member of the Year.
Dr. Spano strives to increase communication and raise awareness about legislation that impacts Floridians. She and members of the DWCF legislative committee monitor the Florida legislative bills and provide timely updates to DWCF members and alerts regarding significant bills.
